Comparative anatomy and evolution of vertebrates, particularly mammals.
Research Area
I am interested in several questions concerning evolutionary biology. These include the origins and evolution of crown vertebrate groups, comparative anatomy of mammals, the combination of molecular and anatomical data for phylogenetic reconstruction, and the reliability of palaeontological data in phylogenetics. I am also interested in the philosophy and history of evolutionary biology and the intersection of science and religion.
Project Interests
I would be happy to discuss supervising a PhD project relevant to my research areas. Please see my publication list (tinyurl.com/45zyjhue) and contact me with a brief, concise email (contact info at robertjasher.com), no attachments, if there is interest.
